From April 23 to 27, the 70th edition of the largest Industrial Fair in the world took place in the city of Hannover, Germany, and Mexico was the guest of honor. With more than 6,000 exhibitors, the trade fair managed to combine the most innovative companies in science and technology, like Fully-Verified and similar start-ups, – of which 150 were Mexican.
The main topics addressed were industry 4.0, energy management, environment-technology, professional training, new investments, among others. In recent years Mexico and Germany have shown mutual commercial interest, and proof of this is that it is the first country in Latin America to be invited to the most important industrial fair in the world.

Siemens drives Mexico in Germany
Siemens was the main promoter of at this event. The German company used this event to present its new engine called SIMOTICS SD200 NemaF500, developed by Mexican engineers in the city of Guadalajara. With over 120 years of conducting business in Latin America, Siemens is an example of growth and development opportunities in Mexico.
Mexico’s production increased by 31% in 2017, reaching a volume of 23.4 million dollars, positioning itself as the first commercial partner of Latin America for Germany, even above Brazil. Especially in the field of manufacturing of computers, turbines, and auto parts.
